REACH is a new European Community Regulation on chemicals and their safe use (EC 1907/2006). It deals with the Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemical substances.
The aim of REACH is to improve the protection of human health and the environment through the better and earlier identification of the intrinsic properties of chemical substances. At the same time, innovative capability and competitiveness of the EU chemicals industry should be enhanced. The benefits of the REACH system will come gradually, as more and more substances are phased into REACH.
All manufacturers and importers of chemicals must identify and manage risks linked to the substances they manufacture and market. For substances produced or imported in quantities of 1 tonne or more per year per company, manufacturers and importers need to demonstrate that they have appropriately done so by means of a registration dossier.
AXSON Technologies is recognized as a « downstream user » by REACH and has been working in close collaboration with its suppliers, since the new regulation became effective; in order to be sure that all the substances used by AXSON Technologies in its formulations are pre-registered before 1st of December 2008.
From this moment, we are pleased to confirm that all the substances used by AXSON Technologies, in its whole product range will be pre-registered in appropriate time. As a consequence, there will be no effect, in middle term, on the continuity of its products.

Wastes are eliminated through specialized treatment in accordance with environmental controls.
